Adventurers (years 1&2)

We are a mixed year 1 and 2 class at St Helens Primary School.

In Adventurers Class we have fun as we learn and always try our best. We try to link all our learning across the curriculum and enjoy lots of first hand experiences. These include visits from people such as firefighters from Ryde Fire Station, the historians from Carisbrooke Castle as well as the Red Cross. We also take trips out around the local area (even to Tesco!) and further afield.

The children will have opportunities to work individually, with a partner and as part of a group both within their own year and across the Key Stage. In all tasks they will be encouraged to develop independence in order to become successful learners.
